12V 12Ah LiFePO4 Lithium Battery (12V 7Ah/9Ah Replacement)
12V 12Ah LiFePO4 Lithium Battery (12V 7Ah/9Ah Replacement)
The 12v 12ah lifepo4 lithium battery (12v 7ah/9ah replacement) is a lightweight lithium iron phosphate battery built to the same case size as a 12V 7Ah/9Ah sealed lead-acid (SLA/AGM) battery - so it drops straight in. With a built-in BMS and no maintenance, it's ideal for alarm and security systems, UPS backup, children's ride-on toys, e-scooters and other small 12V devices, giving longer life and lighter weight than lead-acid.
Specifications
| Chemistry | LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) |
| Nominal voltage | 12.8V |
| Capacity | 12Ah (154Wh) |
| Built-in BMS | Over-charge, over-discharge, over-current, short-circuit & temperature protection |
| Maintenance | Maintenance-free, sealed |
| Case size | Same as 12V 7Ah/9Ah |
Ideal applications
- Alarm & security systems
- UPS / backup power
- Kids' ride-on toys & e-scooters
- Small 12V electronics
Why choose LiFePO4 lithium over lead-acid?
- Much lighter - typically 60-70% lighter than an equivalent lead-acid or AGM battery.
- Longer life - thousands of charge cycles, many times more than lead-acid.
- More usable power - can be discharged much deeper, so you get more of the rated capacity.
- Maintenance-free - sealed, no watering or acid, and can be mounted in most orientations.
- Safe, stable chemistry - lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) is one of the safest lithium chemistries.
- Low self-discharge - holds charge well during storage.
Charging
Use a lithium / LiFePO4 charger with a charge voltage of about 14.6V. A standard lead-acid or AGM charger may not fully or safely charge a lithium battery.
